I’m Agnieszka Kostka, a Warsaw-based artist working with abstract painting.
My work is intuitive and driven by colour, texture and form. I’m interested in creating pieces that don’t need to explain themselves – they can simply exist in a space, change its character and mean something different to whoever is looking at them.
My work has been recognised in art initiatives by Stradivarius and the Miró Foundation. I have also designed a series of medallions for Polish jewellery brand SOTHO and a number of my paintings have been sold through DESA Unicum and Pragaleria.
I paint original, one-of-a-kind works on canvas, each piece is created by hand in Warsaw.
